I think spring is finally almost in full swing. After the big rain that made the river high and muddy and the warm weather, the fish started to push in. Fish are starting to hold in typical spring spots being those 6-8 foot runs behind trees and along the gravel. Also, some winter fish are still holding in those deep winter holes so there is plenty of fish in the system. All we need is a big warm up and I think all these fish will be trying to find a home to spawn. The fish are feeding mainly now on beads and spawn bags. It is shaping up to be a great spring. As the river starts to get busy for the spring season everyone just remember to be respectful to your fellow anglers as they are out there for the same reason you are.
Tight lines,
Capt. Tyler
